As a former waitress I feel qualified to speak on this subject. Kids can be horrible at restaurants. Granted sometimes there are children with special needs and require a little bit of understanding. But sometimes there are just plain rotten kids that have never been disciplined a day in their life.

Yes I know this may sound harsh, and I'm sure there will be more than a few people who will read this and think I'm being unfeeling and maybe I just "don't understand" because I don't have children of my own.
I may not have children of my own, but I have a mother and a father who raised me right. For instance, when going out to eat you don't hoot and holler and make giant messes and you certainly are not rude to your waitress. I cannot count how many rude, entitled kids I've had the misfortune of serving.
But this is the best idea ever.
Kindness and manners really are underrated these days. I'm not saying parents should always be rewarded for having their children behave the way they are suppose to, but with manners and politeness being such a rare occurance these days I like the idea of rewarding such behavior.
