Let's start this out by saying this: Clearly the sidewalk was faulty and the city should do something about this kind of thing happeneing. A sidewalk should be able to easily support an obese person.
At the same time, the fact remains this woman is 400 lbs and fell through a sidewalk into a basement and had to be removed by the fire department with a crane. That is crazy.
Doctor's say her weight was the only thing that saved her. A skinny person would have been severely injured. Granted a skinny person would potentially have not caused the sidewalk to collapse. (Again, obviously the sidewalk was faulty and should have been able to hold up this woman)
This story is just crazy to me.
