I'm so sad this is happening. "Buckwild" is the southern redneck version of Jersey Shore. The show focuses on a group of 20 somethings from W.Virginia. Now I"m sorry, but these kids are giving the south a bad name...and they aren't even REALLY southern. West Virginia hasn't been considered southern (at least in my book) since Scarlet was making dresses outta drapes.

Anywho. The hooligan kids basically feed into every horrible southern stereotype there is. I don't know about you, but I've had just about enough of the southern bashing hillbilly dummy insinuating comments the media keeps putting out there. Um, hello "Django Unchained" (although it was a great movie, it did nothing to help the stereotypes people have of us.)

This show is appaling. From the hoochie momma outfits to the vacant expressions on their faces. They might as well have a Dale Earnhardt Jr. T shirt on too. The premiere was last night on MTV. What did you think of it? I can safely say this will NOT be a new guilty TV show pleasure for me.
