Yea so this is gross. He's been a member of her family, a sibling, since he was 12 and now all of a sudden those years don't matter, and it's not incest. Maybe not biologically, but it's still pretty messed up. Plus, I understand the sentimental value of her mother's ring but if I were engaged and the boy didn't at LEAST offer to get me my own....mmm. There would be a problem. Poor girl. Funny how you think you know absolutely everything especially about love when you're that age. Psh! I've accepted the fact that I don't really know anything and 9 times out of 10 my mother was right....even though it tastes like vinegar to say that outloud.
